Qualifications and Requirements

To qualify in PSU’s ETEEAP programs, you need to have the following:

  • 23 years of age or older (No upper limit)
  • Filipino citizen
  • Minimum education level should be high school graduate equivalent (Regular old or new curriculum and ALS)
  • Work experience of not less than 5 years in a specific industry. It could be continuous under one employer, or aggregate under different employers and time frame but not overlapping if under multiple employees. These should be well supported by documents.

BIT-FSM Details

Bachelor of Industrial Technology majoring in Food Service Management (BIT-FSM)

Food Service Management is under the Bachelor of Industrial Technology (BIT-FSM). It is also called Bachelor of Industrial Technology majoring in Food Service Management (BIT-FSM). This is a trending program from the Pangasinan State University which has benefited hundreds of ETEEAP applicants.

It is a four-year management degree which is similar to BSBA, but focused on the management of food businesses, factories and establishments including hotel restaurants and fast food chains as well as factories and farms.

Career Path of BIT-FSM Graduates

  • Supervisory and Managerial position of fast food chains.

Details of the Program

  • Full Bachelors Degree and accredited by World Education System (WES) of Canada and US as 4-year bachelors degree.
  • Total cost is below 40,000.00 until graduation (See cost breakdown below).
  • Can be completed between 6 and 12 months depending on the student’s diligence and availability of time to complete all the requirements. Candidates can apply for graduation after completion of all requirements, or 6 months after the official enrollment, whichever comes last.
  • Non-thesis but with equivalent projects and research activities related to the subjects. You may also be required to demonstrate your skills (Your professors will provide instructions on how to go about it).
  • Full self-paced modular learning modality without synchronous face-to-face or virtual/online classroom where students need to join, so it is convenient to OFWs who live in different time zones and where Internet connection is limited or intermittent.

Qualifications and Requirements

To qualify, you need to be in the following industry:

  • 23 years of age or older (No upper limit)
  • Filipino citizen by birth (Dual citizen may be accepted, but if you totally denounced your Philippine citizenship, you also forfeited this privilege)
  • Minimum education level should be high school graduate equivalent (Regular old or new curriculum and ALS)
  • Fast food employee for a minimum of five years (Continuous or multiple employees, but not overlapping periods).
  • Food manufacturing employee for a minimum for five years (Continuous or multiple employees, but not overlapping periods).
  • Chef for not less than five years (Continuous or multiple employees, but not overlapping periods).
  • Barista for not less than five years (Continuous or multiple employees, but not overlapping periods).
  • Restaurant employee for not less than five years (Continuous or multiple employees, but not overlapping periods).
  • Catering services for not less than five years (Continuous or multiple employees, but not overlapping periods).
  • Food business owner for not less than five years (Continuous or aggregate, but not overlapping periods if multiple business establishments).
  • DH or caregiver whose job includes food preparation and kitchen management as well as diet management. Your employers (current and former, if applicable) should be able to provide a proof of this such as certification or letter confirming that this was one of the major parts of your responsibilities. We are sure that most, if not all, of our domestic helpers’ job descriptions include this specific function. The only thing needed to be done is to have everything documented. Expanded Assistance to DH and Caregivers

We at ETEEAP.org in coordination with PSU-Asingan continuously create possibilities that open up new opportunities for DH and caregivers.

Ang page na ito ay exclusive para sa mga Domestic Helper (DH) at mga Caregiver na hindi ma-qualify sa ibang ETEEAP program. Ginawa ang sistemang ito dahil naobserbahan na marami ang nahihirapan na gumawa ng kanilang mga document tulad ng CV, application letter, mag fill out ng ETEEAP application form at iba pang mga kailangan nilang ihanda sa pag-apply sa ETEEAP. Ang dahilan ay wala silang access sa mga computer at dahil din sa nature ng kanilang trabaho ay talagang nahihirapan sila bukod sa celfon lang ang gamit nila.

Ang isa pang dahilan ay wala silang alam na pagkuhanan ng mga kinakailangang training certificate na susuporta sa kanilang specific na trabaho maliban doon sa mga standard na certificate na kinuha nila nang nag-apply sila bilang OFW.

Dahil dito ay nais namin kayong tulungan sa paghahanda ng inyong mga credential. May bayad ang services na ito pero sulit ang gastos ninyo.

Bakit May Bayad ang Services Namin?

Ang website na ito ay kompleto sa impormasyon na kailangan ng isang aplikante para makapasok sa ETEEAP. Libre lahat yan. Pero may mga ilan na kailangan pa nila ang mas detalyado at personalized na tulong at gabay sa paghahanda nila ng kanilag mga requirement. Kung ganito ang sitwasyon ninyo, dapat lamang na magbayad kayo para mabigyan namin kayo ng karagdagang oras at attention para sa preparation ninyo sa pag-apply sa ETEEAP upang makatapos ng college degree.

Anong College Degree ang Pwede para sa mga DH at Caregiver?

Ito yung college degree program na aligned sa inyo.

Food Service Management under their Bachelor of Industrial Technology (BIT-FSM). It is also called Bachelor of Industrial Technology majoring in Food Service Management (BIT-FSM).

Pero kailangan pa rin ang limang taon a mahigit pa na bahagi ng trabaho ninyo ang food preparation at diet management. Kasama din dapat ay kitchen management and budgeting. Kung ito ay hindi bahagi ng work experience ninyo ay hindi pa rin kayo ma-qualify.

Ang progam na ito ay management degree na kapareho ng BSBA, pero naka-focus lang sa management ng mga food business, food factories at mga kaparehong establishment kasama na diyan ang mga fast food chain at restaurant sa loob ng mga hotel. Ito ay WES-accredited na program kaya magagamit ninyo ito sa Canada at US. Nasa 40,000.00 pesos lahat ang magagastos ninyo hanggang matapos.

Important to note: Bihirang umaabot sa 41,400.00 ang kabuuang binabayaran ng estudyante. Naka-maximum ang computation sa itaas. Kadalasan ay mas mababa ng PHP2,000.00 hanggang PHP3,000.00 ang inaabot ng total na expense kaya ang naka-advertise ay less than 40,000.00 ang total cost.

Paano Mag-apply?

  • Kailangan ninyong i-submit ang kompletong requirement ninyo na naka-print at nasa isang folder.
  • Dapat organized ang mga credential ninyo sa sequence ng category ng mga document.
  • Hindi ini-evaluate ang mga pinapadala lang sa email lalo na kung hindi kompleto ito, at kahit pa kompleto ay hindi nila titingnan yun. Kailangang naka-print.
  • Pwede ninyong gawin ang lahat ng procedure na ito, o pwede din kayaong mag-avail sa mga services namin na nasa ibaba.

Ano ang Magagawa Namin Para sa Inyo?

Ang consultancy services namin ay nakalaan para sa mga DH at caregiver na nahihirapan na maghanda at mag-compile ng kanilang mga requirement para makapag-aral sa ETEEAP. Sa mga nag-avail nito na na-submit sa school mula noong inumpisahan namin may mga pumasa at nakapag-enroll na (Wala pa namang bumabagsak). May mga naghihintay din ng result ng evaluation nila at may kino-kompleto pa ang kanilang mga requirement.

Ang babayaran ninyo ay 8,500.00 na kasama na doon sa Total Cost Breakdown sa itaas. Ano ang magagawa namin para sa inyo sa service fee na ito?

Ang mga sumusunod ang kasama sa services namin na babayaran ninyo:

  • May online orientation tayo pagkatapos ninyong magbayad (Pwedeng one-on-one o group kung may kasabay kayo na nagbayad). May link sa ibaba kung saan kayo magpapa-register.
  • Tutulungan namin kayo sa mga paraan kung paano at saan makakuha ng mga kinakailangang training certificate na akma sa inyong skills.
  • Magbibigay kami ng guidance kung ano pa ang mga document na kailangan ninyo, kung saan ninyo ito makukuha, o kung paano kayo makakakuha. Pero hindi namin kayo iga-guide sa mga illegal na procedure at mga hindi totoo.
  • Bibigyan namin kayo ng mga sample na document, at kung kailangan ay gagawin namin ang mga ito para i-print ninyo at ipa-prima na lang sa mga amo ninyo saka ninyo ibalik sa amin.
  • Kung kinakailangan ay kami ang magta-type ng mga sagot ninyo sa application form at sa iba pang mga document na hindi ninyo magawa dahil celfon lang ang gamit ninyo. Pero hindi kami ang sasagot sa mga tanong. May form kung saan ninyo i-fill out yung mga sagot ninyo na madali lang gawin sa celfon at kami na lang ang maglilipat ng mga information (Ang mga form na ito ay legal at pwedeng gamiting proof sa mga legal transactions). Bibigyan namin kayo ng karagdagang instruction tungkol dito kapag nakapagbayad na kayo.
  • Kami ang mag-organize ng mga credential ninyo.
  • Kami ang mag-print at mag-organize ng mga ito para ma-bind ang portfolio ninyo.
  • Ipapadala namin ito sa school para sa evaluation.
  • Tutulong kami sa pag-follow up at kung may kulang pa ay itutuloy namin ang assistance sa inyo kung paano ninyo ito makukuha.
  • Kung sakaling bumagsak man kayo sa unang evaluation ay itutuloy namin ang assistance hanggang sa makompleto ninyo ang requirement at makapag-enroll.

Pero bago kayo magpatuloy ay pakibasa lang ninyo itong Accountability Release, Disclaimer at iba pang policy:

Una: Hindi ito procedure ng PSU o ng anumang school na kung saan nagkaroon kami ng ganitong kaayusan. Requirement ng PSU na naka-print ang mga document ninyo at naka-organize sa isang folder bago ito i-submit. Hindi nila trabaho ang mag-print. Kaya namin ito inaalok na serbisiyo, at pinayagan naman ito ng PSU. Hindi din namin sila partner. Kaya kung anuman ang magiging problema sa set-up na ito ay walang pananagutan ang PSU habang nasa amin at pinoproseso namin ang mga requirement ninyo. Ang responsibilidad lang nila ay kung makarating na ang portfolio ninyo sa kanila.

Pangalawa: Hindi garantiya ito ng automatikong enrollment ninyo sa PSU. Ito ay isa lang na bahagi ng proseso ng pag-apply ninyo. Kung anuman ang resulta ng evaluation nila ay hindi na namin pananagutan yun dahil kung ano ang sinubmit ninyo ay yun din ang ipapasa namin sa kanila.

Policy tungkol sa refund:

– Kapag nagbayad na kayo at napagtanto ninyo na hindi pala aligned sa mga programa ng PSU ang inyong mga credential, at gusto ninyong magpa-refund ay may 48 hours lang para gawin ninyo ito. Ngunit ang ire-refund lang namin ay 25% ng binayaran ninyo.
Ang dahilan: Kailangan ninyong seriosohin ang pag-apply dito at hindi lang kayo gumagawa ng school shopping. Dapat ay serioso, desidido determinado kayo sa pagpasok sa programang ito, at pag-aralan ninyong mabuti bago kayo mag-umpisa. Kami ay serioso sa pagtulong at dapat ay ganoon din kayo sa inyong pag-apply.

– Kung ang inyong credential naman ay aligned sa mga programa ng PSU ngunit gusto ninyong magpa-refund sa kung anumang dahilan ay hindi kami magre-refund. Ilalagay namin ang inyong application sa Dormant Applicants’ folder. Pwede ninyong ituloy ang inyong application na walang babayaran sa loob ng isang taon. Kapag lumagpas na ang isang taon ay ma-forfeit ang ibinayad ninyo. At kung gusto ninyong mag-apply ulit ay kailangan ninyong magbayad ng panibago.
Ang dahilan: Kailangan ninyong seriosohin ang pag-apply dito at hindi lang kayo gumagawa ng school shopping. Dapat ay serioso, desidido determinado kayo sa pagpasok sa programang ito, at pinag-aralan ninyong mabuti bago kayo mag-umpisa. Kami ay serioso sa pagtulong at dapat ay ganoon din kayo sa inyong pag-apply.

Kung intresado kayo sa setup na ito at ready na kayo ay pwede na kayong mag-fill-out sa registration form na nasa link sa ibaba gamit ang inyong email address. Mas maige na GMAIL ang gamitin ninyo at dyan din naman naka-login ang inyong Smart phone (Kung walang Google Form sa celfon ninyo ay mag-install muna kayo para mabuksan ninyo ito). Kailangan ninyong basahing mabuti ang mga tanong bago ninyo sagutin. May mga instruction din sa form na kailangan ninyong intindihin kasama ang procedure ng pagbayad. Bago ninyo i-submit yung form ay reviewhin ninyo kung nasunod ninyong lahat ang mga nandoon na procedure at instruction. Pwede ninyong pindutin yung picture o yung button para mabuksan yung registration form.

Pero kung hindi at gusto mo talaga yung hindi aligned ay isa lang ang pwede mong gawin. Mag-enroll sa school na mayroon niyan sa regular program nila, yung 4 years na kunkunin na pwedeng online, hybrid modular-online o face-to-face. Huwag kang mag-enroll sa mga school na nagsasabing pwede kang makatapos ng less than 6 months na parang ETEEAP din pero hindi siya ETEEAP. Scam yan at baka kakutyaba ng school at yung ahente.

PSU ETEEAP DH Aligned Program

This page is exclusively prepared for Domestic Helpers (DH) and Caregivers who cannot qualify in other degree programs under the ETEEAP. Before you resort to other risky means of acquiring a college degree, we would like you to consider this program under a legitimate ETEEAP school, which is Pangasinan State University-Asingan Campus.

Suggested and Offered Bachelors Degree Program

Food Service Management under their Bachelor of Industrial Technology (BIT-FSM). It is also called Bachelor of Industrial Technology majoring in Food Service Management (BIT-FSM).

This is a four-year management degree similar to BSBA, but focused on management of food businesses, factories and establishments including hotel restaurants and fast food chains as well as factories and farms.

It is a WES accredited program that costs less than 40,000.00 pesos to complete, and can be completed in 6 to 18 months depending on the student’s diligence, time availability as well as being organized. This is a non-thesis program but some subjects involves extensive research-based project but still focused on the field you are familiar with. It can also be attended and completed through a full self-paced modular learning modality, which is very convenient with the busy life of OFWs, specially domestic helpers and caregivers.

Career Path of BIT-FSM Graduates

  • Supervisory and Managerial position of fast food chains.
  • Supervisory and Managerial position of restaurants and other food establishments.
  • Supervisory and Managerial position of food manufacturing companies.
  • Supervisory and Managerial position of abattoirs or slaughterhouses.
  • Supervisory and Managerial position of food-producing institutions and farms.

Other open opportunities for BIT-FSM graduates

  • Graduates of BIT-FSM are eligible to take up graduate programs such as Master in Business Administration (MBA).
  • Graduates of BIT-FSM may enroll for 18 teaching units to qualify for LET licensure exams with the BTLEd major.

Qualifications for Domestic Helpers and Caregivers

To qualify, part of your work as DH or caregiver should be food preparation and kitchen management as well as diet management. Your employers (current and former, if applicable) should be able to provide a proof of this such as certification or letter confirming that this was one of the major parts of your responsibilities. We are sure that most, if not all, of our domestic helpers’ job descriptions include this specific function. The only thing needed to be done is to have everything documented.

Note: 1 year in addition to the minimum 5 years work experience in the field you want to apply for ETEEAP earns one point. Maximum of 20 points in this specific area.

Ang page na ito ay exclusive para sa mga Domestic Helpers (DH) at Caregiver na hindi ma-qualify sa mga degree program ng ETEEAP dahil wala silang ibang work experience bago sila mag-DH o mag-Caregiver.

Bago kayo pumatol sa mga hindi siguradong inaalok sa inyo (at baka ma-scam pa kayo) may isang program sa Pangasinan State University-Asingan Campus na pwedeng akma sa inyo.

Ang PSU-Asingan ay isang state university (government university) kaya nakasisiguro kayo na legitimate ito at kinikilala sa ibang bansa.

Suggested and Offered Bachelors Degree Program

Ang program ay Food Service Management na nasa ilalim ng Bachelor of Industrial Technology (BIT-FSM). Tinatawag din itong Bachelor of Industrial Technology majoring in Food Service Management (BIT-FSM).

Qualifications para sa mga Domestic Helper at Caregiver

Primary Requirement

  • 23 years or older (No upper limit)
  • High school graduate equivalent (Regular old or new curriculum or ALS)
    Dapat ang inyong credential ay nagsasabing “Eligible for College“, “Eligible for Tertiary Education“, o “Secondary Education Equivalent“
  • Filipino citizen (Dual citizens are accepted)
  • 5 years or longer as domestic helper or in-house/live-in caregiver. Pwede din ang mga nasa caregiving facilities.

Work Experience Requirement
Para ma-qualify, kailangang isa sa mga pinakapangunahing trabaho ninyo bilang DH o caregiver ay ang mga ito:

  • Food preparation para sa mga amo
  • Kitchen management ng amo
  • Diet management ng mga miyembro ng pamilya
  • Pamamalengke at budgeting ng mga pangangailangan sa kusina.

PSU ETEEAP DH Assistance

Ginawa ang sistemang ito dahil naobserbahan na marami ang nahihirapan na gumawa ng kanilang mga document tulad ng CV, application letter, mag fill out ng ETEEAP application form at iba pang mga kailangan nilang ihanda sa pag-apply sa ETEEAP. Dapat ay sagot pa rin ninyo na kailangan ninyong i-record sa video. Bibigyan namin kayo ng karagdagang instruction tungkol dito kapag nakapagbayad na kayo.

  • Kami ang mag-print at mag-organize ng mga ito para ma-bind ang portfolio ninyo.
  • Ipapadala namin ito sa school para sa evaluation.

Ito yung college degree program na aligned sa inyo.

Food Service Management under their Bachelor of Industrial Technology (BIT-FSM). It is also called Bachelor of Industrial Technology majoring in Food Service Management (BIT-FSM).

Pero kailangan pa rin limang taon a mahigit pa na bahagi ng trabaho ninyo ang food preparation at diet management. Kasama din dapat ay kitchen management and budgeting. Kung ito ay hindi bahagi ng work experience ninyo ay hindi pa rin kayo ma-qualify.

Ang progam na ito ay management degree na kapareho ng BSBA, pero naka-focus lang sa management ng mga food business, food factories at mga kaparehong establishment kasama na diyan ang mga fast food chain at restaurant sa loob ng mga hotel. Ito ay WES-accredited na program at ang lahat ng gastos ninyo ay hindi lalagpas sa 40,000.00 pesos hanggang matapos.

Ang services namin para sa assistance ay 7,500.00 pesos at kasama na ito doon sa nabanggit na 40,000.00. Ito ay kasama ang lahat ng assistance sa document preparation hanggang sa printing ng mga ito at ma-organize na portfolio hanggang maipadala ito sa PSU para sa evaluation.

Pero bago kayo magpatuloy ay pakibasa lang ninyo itong Accountability Release, Disclaimer at iba pang policy:

First, this proposal and offer is not sanctioned by PSU or any other school that we made agreement with. It is our own project. Although PSU allowed us to come up with these services, they are not in any way partner with us and we want to clear them of any responsibility from problems arising with the arrangement with our clients.

Second, this does not guarantee your automatic enrollment with PSU nor will entitle you advantage over other applicants who did not avail of these services. This is just one process of your application, and the rest of the procedure still depends on you.

Please note on refund:
– If you realized that your work experience was not aligned with PSU’s programs and yet you paid for the services, you only have 48 hours from the actual time you paid to request for a refund. 25% of the total mount you paid will be refunded to you.
The reason: You need to be serious, decided and determined in joining this program, and you are not just school-shopping. We are serious in assisting applicants and we mean business, and you should also be.
– If your work experiences are aligned with PSU’s programs and you want to request for a refund on any reason, we won’t refund but instead move your application into the dormant applicants. You have one year from the date of your payment to resume your application, or your fee will be forfeited one year after the actual payment. If you decide later that you want to resume within that one year period, no additional fee will be required. Otherwise you need to restart after your fee’s forfeiture (One year after payment).

PSU ETEEAP DH Aligned Program

This page is exclusively prepared for Domestic Helpers (DH) and Caregivers who cannot qualify in other degree programs under the ETEEAP. Before you resort to other risky means of acquiring a college degree, we would like you to consider this program under a legitimate ETEEAP school, which is Pangasinan State University-Asingan Campus.

Here is the program that is suggested for you.

Food Service Management under their Bachelor of Industrial Technology (BIT-FSM). It is also called Bachelor of Industrial Technology majoring in Food Service Management (BIT-FSM).

This is a management degree similar to BSBA, but focused on management of food businesses, factories and establishments including hotel restaurants and fast food chains.

It is a WES accredited program that costs less than 40,000.00 pesos to complete, and can be completed in 6 to 18 months depending on the student’s diligence, time availability as well as being organized. This is a non-thesis program but some subjects involves extensive research-based project but still focused on the field you are familiar with. It can also be attended and completed through a full self-paced modular learning modality, which is very convenient with the busy life of OFWs, specially domestic helpers and caregivers.

To qualify, part of your work as DH or caregiver should be food preparation and kitchen management as well as diet management. Your employers (current and former, if applicable) should be able to provide a proof of this such as certification or letter confirming that this was one of the major parts of your responsibilities. We are sure that most, if not all, of our domestic helpers’ job descriptions include this specific function. The only thing needed to be done is to have everything documented.

Cost Comparison

Para sa mga nagtatanong kung libre ba ang ETEEAP, o may libre ba na ETEEAP, ay ito ang sagot. May kompleto din na breakdown ang mga bayarin sa iba’t-ibang school, ito man ay mga private o mga government school.

May comparison din dito sa gastos sa regular program at ETEEAP.

Ang ETEEAP ay pareho din sa regular program. Sa paanong paraan, at anong area?

Tingnan muna natin ang regular program. Ipagpalagay natin na non-technical o non-medical 4-year degree ang inenroll ng isang estudyante.

Ganito ang magiging gastos niya.

  • Per unit tuition: Ang average nito ay 1,000.00/unit sa mga private university.
    Sa regular program na 4 years X 2 semesters X 24 units ay aabutin ng 192,000.00 pesos.
    (1,000 x 24 units x 2 sems x 4 years = 192,000.00)

At may mga ganitong program pa (tulad ng BS tourism at BSHM) na may mga field trip at OJT na umaabot ng mahigit 100,000.00 ang karagdagang gastos sa isang semester maliban sa mga nabanggit na standard o regular fees sa itaas. Kaya dagdagan mo pa ng 200,000.00 at aabot ng 666,000.00

Ang pinagkaiba sa ETEEAP ay ito:

Kakaunti ang ini-enroll ng mga qualified sa ETEEAP dahil ang karamihang subject ay covered na ng mga experience nila sa trabaho at mga informal training nila. Nasa pagitan ng 30 at 50 units na lang ang kailangang i-enroll ng qualified applicant. Tingnan natin ang estimated cost ng mag-aral sa ETEEAP sa mga private at mga government school.

May mga degree na hanggang 150,000.00 kung mga technical ito lalo na kung board degree tulad ng mga engineering program. Ang BSN ay mas mahal pa diyan at may face to face pa kaya dagdag gastos din. Pero suma-total mas mababa pa rin ang kabubuang gastos sa ETEEAP.

Kumusta naman ang mga state university at SUC na nasa average ang tuition fee. May mga libre ang tuition fee pero yung ibang fees ay hindi. Kunin natin ang isang state university na 250 per unit ang tuition at sundan natin ang example sa itaas na naka-adjust ang mga bayarin. Ang pwedeng kailangang i-enroll dito ay nasa pagitan ng 24 hanggang 50 units.

  • Tuition fee: Depende sa evaluation o assessment – 6,000.00 – 12,500.00

Sa mga SUC’s na free ang tuition ay alisin mo yan sa computation at ang total cost ay babagsak sa 22,400.00 maximum. May mga ibang SUC’s pa na mas mababa diyan ang total cost pero mas mahigpit ang requirement at mas mahirap ang pagdadaanan ang applicant.

Kung tingnan natin ang comparison sa itaas ay mas mura ang ETEEAP, mas madaling tapusin at mas convenient para sa mga nagta-trabaho at mga pamilyado na dahil sa online, modular o hybrid na modality, kahit pa sa pinakamahirap at pinakamahigpit ang requirement na mga ETEEAP school.

Pero kung sabihin natin na libre sana pati mga ibang gastusin, winawala natin ang value ng degree natin kasama na ang dignidad natin. Wala ding school na magpa-deputize dahil magsasara sila kung wala silang pampa-sueldo sa mga empleyado nila na gumagawa ng extrang trabaho para sa mga ETEEAP student nila.

PSU Module Printing and Shipping Assistance

In addition to the assistance we have been implementing for new ETEEAP applicants in terms of documents printing, portfolio preparation and shipping, we are also delighted to extended these services to enrolled students who need assistance in printing and shipping their modules for submission to the PSU-Asingan campus.

The same case as application requirements, completed students modules should also be printed and shipped to PSU, and as many of their students have difficulties in, or do not have convenient access to, printing and shipping their documents (on top of the cost along with the proper organization and binding of the modules), we therefore would like to extend these services as well for a reasonable fee.

The said arrangement can help you in the following aspects:

  • Saves time in printing your documents.
  • Saves time and money on shipping your documents.
  • Assurance that all your modules are submitted.
  • You can make use of technology by focusing on the use of electronic copies thus saving time and resources in many ways, and you will only need to send the soft or electronic copies of your modules.
  • This includes all parts of your modules, PDF files, Office Suite files, video files and other relevant materials and requirements you need to submit to PSU.

  1. A fee of PHP 5,000.00 is required for these services (This is the minimum cost depending on the total number of pages of all the the modules you will submit. If more than 500 pages, there is an increment of PHP500.00 for every 100 pages). If there are videos that need to be saved on a USB drive, there will be an additional of PHP1,000.00. This is paid upon confirmation that you want to avail of our services. This fee covers the printing of your modules, organizing them according to the school’s procedures, and then shipping them to PSU.
  2. The complete procedure is contained in the Students’ Module Printing Assistance Agreement Form (SMPAAF) and as you answer each question or item in the form, you also need to follow along with the instructions you will find in them.

ETEEAP and Evaluation/Assessment Fees

The evaluation is the very first part of the assessment process that ETEEAP DHEIs implement to determine if the applicants are eligible to enroll in their program.

The schools usually require the applicants to submit between 1 and 3 sets of their portfolio (credentials), one consisting of all the original documents, and the other two are photocopies. Other schools require only 1 set of photocopies. One of these (if more than one) will be kept in the permanent student record of the school for future reference, just like they do on regular program students.

Along with the submitted documents is the corresponding evaluation fee that ranges between PHP5,000.00 and PHP25,000.00. Some private schools require this fee upfront as soon as the applicants submit their letter of intent along with their application form and other credentials. For others, this is paid if the student passed the pre-evaluation and already qualified for the next step of the student’s application which is usually the interview with the panel of experts. For the latter, the student already qualified and the evaluation panel interview is only to determine the level of expertise of the applicant which is needed by the school to appropriate the equivalent courses (subjects and units) that will be covered by his/her work experiences and informal trainings. Then the school will determine the courses the student needs to enroll to complete all the requirements to be awarded a bachelor’s degree.

Does paying the evaluation fee ensure that applicants will be accepted? Yes and No and that depends on the school. In the previous paragraph, there are two ways schools collect the evaluation/assessment fee. With the former, it is still uncertain, but with the latter as explained the student already passed the pre-evaluation and the fee is only for the final determination of how many subjects the student still needs to enroll. Is there still a possibility that the applicant will fail in this stage? Yes if the panel notices inconsistencies in the applicant’s statements and answers to their queries, if they find out the applicant is lying, and/or if they find out that the applicant submitted fraudulent documents.

The evaluation process is when and where the applicants’ credentials are examined and scrutinized by the industry experts in the field the applicants are requesting to enroll in. These experts could be the professors of the specified field, or external. The evaluation is not part of their paid job description, and therefore should be paid. Thus the evaluation fee, and therefore is not refundable in most cases, whether the applicants passed or failed the evaluation because the services (which is evaluating the applicant) has been delivered. If the applicants fail, most, if not all, do not refund.

If the applicants passed the evaluation and are accepted, the fee is normally deductible to the whole package fee of the program.

Some schools, especially state universities, do not require evaluation fees upfront. These will only be paid if the applicants passed the evaluation. These are referred to as ‘Evaluation Fee’ or ‘ETEEAP Accreditation Fee’ (either or both appear separately) in the assessment form the students will receive to continue with their enrollment process.

To avoid getting scammed, the applicants are advised to pay these fees directly at the school cashier, or any designated payment system the school has instructed them.

Para saan ang Evaluation, o Assessment at ETEEAP fee?

Ang EVALUATION ay ang pinakaunang prossesso ng assessment na ginagawa ng school para tingnan at busisiin ang mga credential ng mga aplikante kung eligible silang mag-enroll sa ETEEAP (Yan yung ibig sabihin ng Equivalency and Accreditation sa acronym na ETEEAP). Ibig sabihin, pwedeng pumasa o bumagsak ang aplikante sa prossesso na ito.

Kapag ang school ay nag-require ng evaluation/assessment fee bago nila umpisahan ang prossesso, yan ay non-refundable sa karamihang school (baka sa lahat pa nga ng school, at karamihan ay private colleges at universities), pumasa ka man o hindi. May ibang school na saka na lang magbayad ng evaluation fee kung tapos na at pumasa sa pre-evaluation (Karamihan ay state universities, pero may mga private institutions naman na mas considerate at ‘pay only if you passed the evaluation’). Ang tawag sa babayaran na ito sa assessment form ay ‘Evaluation Fee’ o kaya ay ‘ETEEAP Accreditation Fee’. Sa ibang kaso ay magkahiwalay na makikita itong dalawang impormasyon.

Kapag pumasa sa evaluation ay deductible ang evaluation fee na babayaran sa total amount ng buong program (kung upfront o binayaran bago mag-umpisa ang evaluation).

Bakit may ganitong fee?

Dahil ang mga mag-eevaluate at mga expert sa field ay hindi kasama sa kanilang suweldo ang trabaho na ito kaya kailangan silang bayaran regardless kung pumasa o hindi ang applicant (Hindi laging employed sa school ang mga evaluator. Minsan ay external ang mga ito na pupunta lang sa school para mag-evaluate ng mga credential ng mga applicant sa ETEEAP. )

Ang range ng evaluation fee ay 5k hanggang 25k depende sa school.

Para hindi ma-scam ay doon sa school mismo magbayad, hindi sa agent. O mag-verify muna sa school kung pwedeng sa agent ibigay ang bayad.
