UB’s Brief Background
University of Baguio is known among the private higher education institutions in the Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR) as well as one of best in the whole country. Their campus is located at the heart of the beautiful City of Baguio which is another reason why it is one of the best choices when it comes to tertiary education.
Included in their programs is the implementation of the Expanded Tertiary Education Equivalency and Accreditation Program (ETEEAP). They are one of the hundreds of colleges and universities in the Philippines that were deputized by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) to implement the said program. They were also one of the pioneers in implementing the ETEEAP during the program’s infancy.

UB is known for its specialization in Business Administration & Accountancy, Criminal Justice & Public Safety, Dentistry, Engineering & Architecture, Information Technology, International Hospitality & Tourism Management, Law, Natural Sciences, Nursing, Teacher Education and Liberal Arts.

UBaguio ETEEAP Learning Modality
UB implements and delivers ETEEAP using the full-modular modality (Except in cases where the professor sees the need for an online class attendance with Google Classroom, Zoom or other platforms). Completion period –
It may range from one semester to three semesters depending on the evaluation of your credentials and qualifications. After this, grades will be completed and application for graduation will be processed just like regular students. If approved, you will graduate.
Realistic expectation: From the actual enrollment to graduation, the quickest is one year.
Tuition and Other Fees
This is one of the first question prospective candidates always ask so we will explain it here. Below is the official fee schedule coming from their office. The figures below started in the school year 2026-2027.
- Processing Fee: Php30,000.00* (You can discuss the mode of payment directly with the school.)
- Administrative Fee: Php10,000.00* (You can discuss the mode of payment directly with the school.)
- Tuition Fee: Php1,574.00 per unit* (Total will only be determined after your evaluation so we cannot provide any answer as to how much is the rough estimate. Tuition can be installment but should be fully paid before graduation or enrollment to next trimester, whichever is applicable)
- Miscellaneous Fee: Php9,847.00*
- Graduation Fee: Php2,750.00*
- Photoshoot: Php570.00*

The figures below give you an idea of the approximate expenses you will be expecting when you enroll at the University of Baguio. There are no hidden charges. Tuition Sample Computation
The following sample computations are based on PHP 1,574.00 per unit (Ranging from 24 to 75 units). The number of units is determined by the final assessment of your credentials after the school’s evaluation and their interview with you. You will pay your tuition in full before the end of each trimester (if you are required to complete your requirements more than one trimester), or before graduation.

Other Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ’s)
- Are students required to complete a thesis?
– That will be determined after your credentials are evaluated. - How long does it take to complete the program?
– Completion of all enrolled courses should take between 6 months and two years, which is the maximum. If applicants cannot complete their requirements within two years, they need to undergo a re-evaluation and re-qualification process. Then undergo re-enrollment and pay corresponding fees. - Do students need to attend on campus or online?
– UB implements and delivers ETEEAP using the full-modular modality (Except in rare cases where the professor sees the need for an online class attendance with Google Classroom, Zoom or other platforms. The professors would also like to meet their students online at least once.) - What is the residency period?
– Individuals enrolled under the Program are required to have minimum residency of six (6) months, or one semester. This means that even if your enrolled subjects are completed in less than 6 months (one trimester), you can not apply for graduation, even if you have complied with all the requirements. Maximum residency is two years when and if you have not completed all your requirements, you need to undergo a re-evaluation and another enrollment procedure. - How do we apply for the program?

How to Apply
There are two ways or options to apply for evaluation, which eventually leads to enrollment if you qualify. We suggest that you choose option 2 for smoother flow of your enrollment as we will communicate with the school in your behalf. We will also be the one to print your credentials and complete your portfolio before we submit directly to the school.

Application, Evaluation and Enrollment Procedure
- Fill out the application forms (Click here for the downloadable application form in PDF). For the editable version of the ETEEAP application form in MS Word, please go the this link (Editable ETEEAP Application Form-MS Word), and go to your Downloads Folder to open and fill out the document.
- Prepare a detailed resume or CV along with a cover letter of intent which includes the program of your interest. (Sample cover letter in this link)
- Prepare a Detailed Functions and Responsibilities (DFR) or Service Record to be signed by your current employer. (See sample DFR in this link)
- Prepare a Detailed Functions and Responsibilities (DFRs) or Service Records to be signed by your previous employers (If available).
- Prepare copies of employment certificates (COE) of current and previous employers pertaining to number 3 and 4. (See sample COE in this link)
- Request a recommendation letter from your employer. (See samples in this link)
- Prepare all the other documents (NSO provided birth certificate, Diploma and transcripts of records of your completed education, etc).
- Prepare all certificates of training, seminars and awards that you have acquired.
- Prepare a list of your works or publications either in print or digital. (Examples: Websites, printed books you have written and published, newspaper or magazine articles you have written-online or in print; technical projects-patented or not such as electronic or electrical devices and equipment, big projects you were involved).
- Any other relevant documents from any organization or entity as proof of your claimed skills and achievements.
- Certificates and/or acknowledgements of community services you participated in.
- Awards and recognitions you received form your work or from the community.
- Membership to a professional organization (OWWA, Clubs, associations, etc.)
- Professional licenses, eligibilities, exams or expertise test results.
- Print all your credentials and bind them into a clear book. Then submit your portfolio to their campus located at General Luna Road, Baguio City.
